Rathgeb Agency was born in 1947 trading raw materials mainly used in the
confectionery industry (chewing-gum base gum, arabic gum for soft candies, soft drink,
pharmaceutical industry, essential oils).
Within some years, Rathgeb gave up selling chewing-gum base gum, and continued selling all other raw materials.
Thanks to this long activity, Rathgeb developed fruitful and important collaborations that, in some cases, have been lasting for more than 40 years, with the whole Italian confectionery industry sector that numbers, among the others not less important, great companies like Elah Dufour, Pastiglie Leone e Perfetti Van Melle that, as well known, reached importance from an international point of view.
